The ripples of water are deconstructed into a dialectical ode to life: the surface mirrors the viewer's reflection; the middle layer, with brushstrokes inspired by the three variations of the "Plum Blossom Melody," uses rapid strokes to convey struggle and gentle washes to suggest sedimentation; the underlying turbulence dissolves into chaotic swirls, hinting at rebirth through the blending of ink. These states intertwine via the permeability of ink — just as life perpetually cycles between calm and turmoil, order and chaos. Through water's physicality, the artist achieves a philosophical contemplation of life's multidimensionality.
