Customs Issues

Customs Issues

If the artwork you have ordered is damaged or confiscated by the customs authorities in your country/region, we cannot be held responsible for this. Any unpacking inspection of the artwork or confiscation of the artwork by the customs authorities, or any damage to the artwork caused by their actions, are not considered as loss of the artwork, damage to the outer packaging, or damage to the artwork itself. Therefore, any losses arising from the above reasons will need to be borne by you.

For example, a customs officer may open the entire painting to search for contraband, and after finding nothing, be unable to reframe it. If you are entitled to compensation for this, you will need to file a complaint and explanation directly with your relevant government representative or customs authority. At the same time, we will also assist you as much as possible by providing you with the necessary material content.

The Artist In Kraft assumes no liability for any damages caused by customs authorities and their practices.

Parcel Prohibition or Return

If the customs authorities in your country prohibit the package from entering, resulting in the artwork being unable to arrive smoothly, we will not be held responsible for this. Please check the relevant policies on your own before making a purchase. Once we receive the returned package, we will refund the amount you paid, deducting the shipping costs for the round trip to your country and a 35%warehousing fee of the final payment for the order(excluding other import fees).

If during the customs return process, the package is lost in transit or cannot be re-imported to the shipping origin, resulting in the package not being returned normally, we will not be held responsible. The payment amount for the related order will also not be refunded. Please understand and comply with the customs regulations of your country or region to avoid incurring unnecessarily high costs.

If a package is returned due to reasons such as"undeliverable" or"incorrect address," or if it is rejected by the customs authorities in your country(or for any other reason), we will contact you via email. If the returned artwork successfully arrives back at our shipping location, we will attempt to resend it, but you will be responsible for the return shipping costs as well as the postage for the second shipment. The returned item will not be eligible for a full refund. You have the option to choose to have us resend the item and pay the associated costs or to pay for the shipping costs from your country back to us and a 35%warehousing fee.
