The Eve is mainly composed of dreamy and idealistic images. In the painting, a lizard is realistically highlighted. The inspiration for the lizard comes from the novel Android Jenny, in which a fictional creature called the spotted - tailed hairy lizard is created. It represents the awakening of women in the novel. The artist opposes the objectification of women, the moral shackles imposed on women, and the stereotypical definition of female beauty. When we quietly appreciate the painting, we can also find that it also implies the liberation of men. The term "Android Jenny" is derived from the English word "androgyny", which means hermaphroditism.
In traditional concepts, women are often described as the weaker sex. Although the vaguely visible human figure in the painting is mainly presented in a female form, it actually tries to break free from traditional shackles while conforming to traditional language.
The artist herself is not restricted by these shackles. Therefore, The Eve is not a voice for the artist herself, but rather a hope that those in difficult situations can ultimately break free from the constraints.
