This work draws upon the unique landscape of Yunnan to express the wisdom of its farmers. The terraced fields, a distinctive feature of mountainous farmlands, are a testament to the ingenuity of Yunnan’s people in their mountain labors. I have used high-temperature color-changing glaze to interpret the terraces, hoping that this wisdom of the mountains will not fade away with time.
