The humorous content in the images stems from the artist’s unique way of perceiving life—this perspective of observation is a natural outcome, rather than a deliberate pursuit of such humorous imagery.
Artist ID: #015's Creative State
I am drawn to the irrational and tend to lean into a state of human instinct—a state that evolves and advances on its own. Guided by this instinct, I naturally let go of certain painting techniques and logical frameworks. When creating, I intentionally avoid over-polishing my skills, hoping my works exude a sense of rawness. Refined techniques can dilute the direct connection between hand and heart, while rawness brings forth unmediated feelings. I don’t want techniques to block the emotional resonance between people, nor to stand in the way of direct communication and emotional engagement between the work and its audience.
What does Artist ID: #015 think art is?
Art is not an extension of technique, but an expression of human states and irrationality, as well as a sense of the times. Art is merely a tool for expression—a manifestation of personal actions and behaviors. It is not necessarily expression through images; rather, expression occurs throughout the entire process. The emergence of art begins with action.
